 Saab greatness amongst us
We are not worthy...

Tim's airflow has apparently won a people's choice award at SaabCon or whatever the name of the Saab geek event is that he is attending.

Congrats, Tim! You are the Saabiest geek I know!

Pics are coming soon. The convention was amazing... Not just Saab people, but lots of car people. We got to tour the restoration facility known as CAS (Custom Automotive Specialities). They restore all of the cars that are in GM's Heritage Collection. On Saturday, we toured three of the warehouses that store the heritage/concept cars that aren't currently in circulation or are awaiting resto, and on Saturday night, we had dinner and an awards ceremony at the GM Heritage Museum. This place isn't open to the public, and I can understand why. It was phenomenal.

The award that I won was the 2nd Place Crisman Award. The Crisman award was for people who are 21 years or younger. That was the only requirement. I'll post plenty of pictures in the upcoming days.

I went to the convention too. Here is a link to my pictures. I was only able to get a few before my camera died, and at the time, most had all their hoods, hatches and trunks open so none of the pics are that good. Tim has many from the GM Heritage museum where the banquet was that you will see soon. Hopefully this link works for my pics:

Looked and sounded like a good time!

I really like that C900 with the rear louvers.

I was pretty bummed 'cause I thought I had lost 3/4 of my pictures from the trip... Turns out that one computer just wasn't reading my entire SD card. I tried it at home and it worked fine. I've started uploading pics from the trip. They should be posted within a couple of days.

Finally... They're uploaded!

Many of the pics are from the CAS facilities that restore and store the Heritage Museum cars... Many are from the Convention itself in the parking lot... Many are from the Awards Banquet/Closing Dinner at the GM Heritage Museum. Enjoy!

Just FYI, there is a lot of non-Saab content in that album as well. Lots of pics from the GM Heritage Museum, etc.

Someone posted this pic of the winners of the Crisman Award:
